On November 5, our 11th- and 12th-grade students had the exciting opportunity to take part in the German B2 beta test at the Goethe-Institut Manila – a first look at the institute’s new exam tasks on B2-level.
The test went beyond a simple trial: it let students assess their skills in reading, listening, and writing, gain experience in an official exam setting, and receive detailed feedback. While no official Goethe-Institut diploma is awarded, the feedback boosts confidence and provides invaluable preparation for the DSD2 C1 exam on November 19 at GESM – a crucial milestone for German university admission.
The beta test revealed strengths, highlighted areas for improvement, and gave students a clear view of what the DSD2 demands as well: precise expression, nuanced comprehension, and structured argumentation. We are proud of our students’ dedication and excited to see their results – another key step toward exam success!
