After a week-long break, GESM students returned to the campus in high spirits, dressed in creative and colorful costumes. It's March 4 -- Karneval celebration.

An iconic German tradition, Karneval (or "Fasching") is known for its lively parades, costumes, and fun-filled festivities. Keeping this spirit alive, students kicked off the event by voting for the best costumes in their class. The top three from each class were invited to strut down the stage in a fashion-show-style catwalk in the auditorium, where a panel of judges crowned the overall best costume winner. Candies were thrown into the crowd, making the celebration even sweeter!

Adding to the fun, students and teachers walked around the campus in their costumes, showcasing everything from superheroes to fairy tale characters.

With laughter, music, and a fantastic display of costumes, Karneval 2025 brought a piece of Germany’s rich cultural tradition to Manila, making it a joyful and unforgettable event for all.
