Sea Turtle’s Field Trip to Lakbay Museo

by Katrina Uytengsu

Our field trip to Lakbay Museo took us on an unforgettable journey through the different places in the Philippines, where we marveled at natural wonders and immersed ourselves in vibrant cultural celebrations.

In Region V, also known as the Bicol Region, we explored iconic attractions like the Chocolate Hills, Mayon Volcano, and Haring Ibon, experiencing the beauty of nature firsthand.

Venturing to Ilocos Sur, we wandered through the historic streets of Calle Crisologo in Vigan, admiring its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture. At the Pahiyas Festival, we joined in the colorful festivities, sampling local snacks and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.

Our cultural exploration culminated in a mesmerizing showcase of traditional dances, where we actively participated on stage alongside enthusiastic performers.

Leaving with hearts full of memories, our journey revealed the Philippines' captivating blend of natural splendor and rich cultural heritage, inviting us to cherish and celebrate its treasures.
