Last Thursday, our film Off-Grid had its special screening for the younger grades, and it was an unforgettable experience! Though we only showcased about 50% of the completed film, we were happy to share our work with everyone. To add to the fun, we also showed some bloopers that brought some smiles to the audience.

Off-Grid tells the story of four distant friends who stumble upon an online post about a hidden treasure deep in a forest trail. Excited by the promise of adventure, they embark on a journey into the woods, hoping to find something extraordinary. Along the way, the group faces the challenges of the wilderness, but more importantly, they begin to reconnect and grow closer with every step. However, when they finally reach the site, they are met not by treasure, but by the very reporter who posted the trail online. He reveals the truth: there was never any treasure at all. But in that moment, the friends realize that what they found was something far more valuable: each other.

Making this film was not easy. As part of our CAS project, we faced many challenges along the way. On several filming days, cast members had to leave due to busy schedules, forcing us to redo scenes and improvise on the spot. There were moments we weren't sure we could pull it together, but our team pushed through. These struggles taught us patience, creativity, and the importance of flexibility.

Screening the film for the younger grades was a proud moment for us. Despite the challenges during production, being able to present something we worked hard on made all the effort worth it. We're grateful for the experience and for everyone who came to watch!
