As part of GESM's commitment to deliver a student-centred, inquiry based curriculum where teachers are facilitators of knowledge, not the sole source, some 5th graders were asked to do interviews as part of completing their Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition.
Students Karlee Hannam and Kohwoon Shim are knowing more about how they could take action against discrimination, specifically racism by interviewing Ambassador Sylvie Bollini of the Council of Europe, a Pan- European organization which fight for human rights and the rule of law.
Meanwhile, student Adam Buck conducted an interview with Police Colonel Wilson Doromal, Regional Chief of Highway Patrol Group NCR, Philippine National Police. Adam and the Colonel talked at length about current transportation challenges in the Philippines.
