Two Strong Days for GESM Chess: U11 Silver, U14 Top 5

Last November 15, 2025, our GESM Chess Club proudly participated in the inter-school chess tournament held at Beacon School Makati. We were represented in two divisions: Under 11 (U11) and Under 14 (U14).

Among 12 competing schools, our U11 team earned an impressive 2nd Place overall, showcasing great skill and teamwork. Our U14 team also delivered a strong performance, finishing 5th out of 10 teams.

All our players demonstrated exceptional talent and determination, with each one placing within the Top 5 individual rankings of their respective boards.

We also celebrate Shaquille C. (6E) for achieving Rank 1 out of 11 players, earning a Gold Medal in his category — an outstanding accomplishment!
