U-11 Mixed Basketball Ends on High Note!

On Saturday March 29th a spirited group of mixed GESM players had an exciting end to their MISAA League campaign at the Beacon School court. Facing a tough opponent in Everest Academy, the team did not give up despite being down early. After some thrilling baskets back and forth, GESM fought back to take the lead and never relinquishing it. The final score of 37-31 marked the most points they had scored all season!

Lacing up their shoes to play for GESM were: Princess (5E), Lola (5E), Karen Ide (5E), Maram (5E), Manon (5E), Abril (5E), Maxine (5E), JJ (6E) and Jio (6E).

This group, which started out way back in September in tournament play, stayed focused and determined to try their best. Many thanks to the parents and everyone involved for supporting these developmental athletes in a very successful year of basketball competition.
