On 30 April 2026, GESM’s Grade 5 students marked an important milestone in their Primary Years Programme journey with the successful presentation of their PYP Exhibition.

The exhibition, held in the Aula and school lobby, showcased the culmination of months of student-driven inquiry. Working in six groups, students explored a wide range of meaningful and real-world topics, including renewable energy, the treatment of animals, the impact of artificial intelligence, endangered species, racism, and the importance of bees.

Throughout the process, students demonstrated strong ownership of their learning. They applied key Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills such as research, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and time management. Their presentations reflected not only a deep understanding of their chosen topics, but also a growing sense of responsibility and global awareness.

Parents, teachers, and members of the school community had the opportunity to engage with the students’ work, ask questions, and celebrate their achievements. The event highlighted the confidence and maturity of the learners as they shared their insights and reflected on their learning journeys.

Looking ahead, the school is pleased to announce that starting next school year, the PYP Exhibition will be presented jointly by students from both the German and English sections. This development promises an even richer exchange of ideas and perspectives within the school community.

The PYP Exhibition once again proved to be a meaningful and memorable conclusion to the Primary Years Programme, and a proud moment for students, teachers, and families alike.
