I am Ms. Tonette Bajao and I teach primary students with additional needs. I have been teaching for more than 8 years. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Education with a major in Special Education. I have a diploma in special education, and I am a certified professional teacher. I also completed my bachelor's degree in Legal Management. I am delighted to be part of GESM, a school that values diversity and inclusion.

Mein Name ist Matthias Findorff, staatlich anerkannter Erzieher aus Deutschland. Ich bin verheiratet und habe einen Sohn. In Deutschland habe ich als stellvertretende Leitung einer Jugendhilfe-Einrichtung, in der Flüchtlingshilfe, als Gruppenleitung im Hort sowie als freiberuflicher Selbstständiger mit Kindern mit dem Schwerpunkt Autismus und ADHS gearbeitet. Als Leitfaden wie ich arbeite, gebe ich gerne das Zitat von Maria Montessori wieder: „Das Leben anzuregen - und es sich dann frei entwickeln zu lassen - hierin liegt die erste Aufgabe des Erziehers."
My name is Matthias Findorff, certified Kindergarten teacher from Germany. I am married and have a son. In Germany, I have worked as a deputy director of a youth welfare facility, in refugee assistance, as a group leader in after-school care, and as a freelance self-employed with children with a focus on autism and ADHD. Paola Frattola Gebhardt ist Grundschullehrerin und Literaturwissenschaftlerin. Sie wurde in Mailand geboren. Im Rahmen der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit hat sie sich 20 Jahre lang mit Kindern und Jugendlichen in Asien und Afrika beschäftigt. Sie hat lange in Frankfurt am Main gelebt und dort als Klassenlehrerin an der Franckeschule im Stadtteil Bockenheim unterrichtet. Im Februar 2022 hat sie beim Südpol Verlag das Buch „Die Welt schmecken und entdecken“ veröffentlicht: Eine interaktive Entdeckungsreise durch 13 Länder.
Paola Frattola Gebhardt is a primary school teacher and literary scholar. She was born in Milan. In the context of development cooperation, she worked for 20 years with children and young people in Asia and Africa. She lived in Frankfurt am Main for a long time, where she taught as a classroom teacher at the Franckeschule in the Bockenheim district. In February 2022, she published the book "Taste and discover the world" with Südpol Verlag: An interactive journey of discovery through 13 countries.
Hallo, mein Name ist Katrin Hofmann und seit August 2022 unterstütze ich das Kindergartenteam im deutschsprachigen Bereich. Ursprünglich komme ich aus Dingolfing in Deutschland, habe aber viele Jahre in München gelebt. Ich freue mich auf eine schöne Zeit mit allen Kindern und auf eine gute Zusammenarbeit mit allen Eltern.
Mein Name ist Korbinian Hook und ich komme aus Deutschland, um genau zu sein aus Bayern. Dort habe ich neben meinem Studium und der Arbeit in der Schule viele Jahre eine Jugendmannschaft im Fußball trainiert. In diesem Schuljahr bin ich der Klassenlehrer der deutschen dritten Klasse. Auf die Arbeit am anderen Ende der Welt freue ich mich sehr.

Hello, my name is Christoph Moerz and I come from Austria. I’m the new secondary teacher in the German section. I teach Math, Physics, Geography and ICT, and I am looking forward to work at the GESM.
Sebastian Schaffer - I komme aus Ludwigshafen, Deutschland und habe 14 Jahre in der universitären Forschung mit Schwerpunkt im Bereich Ernährung & Neurowissenschaften gearbeitet bzw. unterrichtet. Vor dem Umzug mit meiner Familie auf die Philippinen im Jahr 2014 war ich Teil einer internationalen Forschergruppe am Fachbereich Medizin an der NUS in Singapur. In 2006 habe ich erfolgreich das European Nutrition Leadership Program (ENLP) in Luxemburg absolviert. In den Jahren 2017 bis 2022 unterrichtete ich Chemie, Biologie und Forschungspraktika an einer privaten Highschool in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Seit August 2022 bin ich jetzt als Teilzeitlehrer im Fach Biologie des deutschen Zweigs des IB Programmes tätig. Ausschlaggebend für meine Entscheidung, an der GESM zu arbeiten, waren die gute Ausstattung sowie das internationale Lehrerkollegium. Für die kommenden Jahre freue ich mich darauf, die Schülerinnen und Schüler auf ihrem akademischen Weg zu begleiten.
I am from Ludwigshafen, Germany and have fourteen years of experience in academia with special expertise in the field of nutritional neuroscience research and teaching. Before I moved with my family to the Philippines in 2014, I worked for more than 6 years in an international research team at the School of
Medicine, NUS in Singapore. In 2006, I successfully completed the European Nutrition Leadership Program (ENLP) in Luxembourg. From 2017 to 2022, I taught Chemistry, Biology and Research in classes 8 to 12 at a private Highschool in Santa Rosa, Laguna. In August 2022, I joined GESM as a part-time Biology teacher for the German IB Program (GIB). The very good facilities and college of international teachers at GESM have been crucial for my decision to teach at GESM. For the coming years, I am looking forward to supporting current and future students in reaching their academic potential in a holistic way.
