Settling In, Growing Together

We are delighted to share that the new school year has begun with a positive and joyful energy in our German Kindergarten and English Early Years groups. As with any transition, the first days have brought a mix of excitement, curiosity, and a few wobbles - all part of settling into something new. The children are gradually getting used to the routines, the environment, and one another, and it’s been encouraging to see them start to find their rhythm.

It’s been especially nice to welcome both familiar and new faces this year. Many returning children came back eager to reconnect, sharing stories about their summer and clearly having missed their teachers, friends, and even the playground! At the same time, our new students have begun finding their place in the group, and it’s been lovely to watch new friendships forming.

Over these first few weeks, teachers have focused on helping the children feel safe, confident, and connected in the classroom. Each day brings a little more independence, as the children begin to understand daily routines and feel more at home in their learning environment.

One of the highlights so far has been watching the children build on their early learning skills, from practicing taking turns and sharing, to exploring, building, and asking questions. Their curiosity and willingness to engage with new experiences are already becoming a strong part of daily life.

We look forward to the many exciting moments ahead as we continue to grow, learn, and explore together. It’s already shaping up to be a fantastic year!
