GESM hosts German members of parliament

GESM had the honor of hosting Mr. Michael Müller and Mr. Andreas Larem today on campus! The two guests are members of the German parliament, currently in Manila for a state visit. They were accompanied to the campus by German embassy Deputy Head of Mission Mrs. Laura Oexle.

While here, they got to observe and meet our Grade 1D students while they were having class. The two guests were presented with souvenirs by Mia (4E) and Ethan (5E), and afterwards had an engaging discussion with Kimi (10D), Hannah (10D) and Oskar (8D) about their work in parliament, the students' plans for their future and studying in Germany.

Aside from getting to know the students, the guests also toured the campus and got to see the lush green lettuce that's just about ready for harvest from the aquaponics garden!
