IB Music Recital (Guitar)
Student Marius Sehrbrock on the IBDP Music experience:
"I am so happy to be part of the IBDP Music course. As I am the only student in this class it is a very weird experience. I have never had a one-on-one class for my entire school life. I have learned a lot, participated actively, and asked questions without hesitation.
For my solo performing coursework, I would normally practice my pieces at home and present them in the auditorium. But with the global situation of COVID-19, I was forced to stay at home and not record my final pieces in the auditorium. I had to record everything at my place. This was not a problem since I practiced for most of them, but it was my first time recording at home. I normally would record in a studio or as I have said the auditorium. It took a few tries to get the right recording and even got frustrating at many points.
In the end, all recordings were submitted and the whole experience was a BLAST! I thank Mrs. Ferrandon for having to deal with me for the entire year!"
